This past Saturday we were fortunate to be part of My Dream Wedding Show, held at the picturesque Renaissance Vancouver Harbourside Hotel. Tylor, Deidra and I set up our very first wedding stationery booth and were eager to chat with brides (and grooms) about what their vision for invitations, save-the-dates, menus and everything paper looked like for their big day. We so enjoyed hearing engagement stories, and meeting so many awesome people. There were gorgeous wedding dresses, seriously great vendors (did anybody else try those goat cheese covered grapes rolled in pistachio dust? wow... thanks to The Butler Did it Catering), and a hilarious (and informative) session with Randy Fenoli.
To the guests, vendors and show coordinators – thanks for giving us a warm welcome and a very awesome first wedding show.
A big congratulations to a lucky groom for winning the Whistler Adventure give-away! (We've sent the winner an email with more details)
We have announced the winner of the invitation design give-away on our Facebook page – take a peek here!
Thanks to Danielle Dobson for the great photos from the show! If you'd like to see more from the event, please browse her Facebook page here.
This week's Fancy Friday inspired by our neighbour's sheep. I like to watch him out my window – he is so cute!
Be glad that is is the weekend! Download the sheep for your desktop right here.
Fridays are the best work days of the week. Am I right? To make them even sweeter, I am going to start creating something extra fancy and post it every friday. A little something to kick-off your weekend with something colourful and happy.
In celebration of this beautiful province and the soon-to-be summer berry season, I've created a strawberry image and pattern today. Enjoy!

Yesterday was a good day. We had our very first exhibit at the Chamber's Fraser Valley Business Showcase. All complete with a hand-crafted display, snazzy name-tags, give-aways, and a raffle for $500 creative dollars. We were able to meet new faces, talk with other business owners, and introduce Kayla English Creative to the area for the first time. It was so great to hear feedback on what we're doing, and make some awesome connections in this new (to us) community.
To the lovely design students Lorenza and Oliva from the UFV, it was such a delight to meet you and chat about your aspirations and interest in design and visual communications. I'm hoping we can connect soon!
We'll be announcing the winner of the raffle later tonight – stay tuned via Facebook, and remember to "like" our page!
You can even click right here. I'll make it easy for you :)
